A beginning was made when we began the A N Vij Charitable Trust in the year 2012, vide registration number 657.04.2012. There is no better way to pay back to the society than providing the most desired and important infrastructure in the form of modern education.
While conceptualizing the Trust, our intention was to create an educational hub that would be unique and different. The aim was to educate the children from all walks of life, hence the Board took a decision to run three different schools under the A N Vij Charitable Trust.
THE ORCHID PREP SCHOOL was the first one to be registered. A play school using interactive methods to teach children between the age groups two to four years.
ARUSHI SCHOOL, the first ray of sunshine was soon opened as a wing of The Orchid Prep School admitting students from the economically weaker section. The emphasis was to provide education to all children, to give them an equal opportunity to make a mark for themselves in the society.
ARUSHI SCHOOL OF HOPE was registered with the welfare society soon after to education children with special abilities. An all-age group school that caters to children who have the zeal and passion to learn, but only need an avenue to bring out their creativity.
Today, after almost seven, we are proud to state that our Institution functions on a beautiful infrastructure and is supported by an amazing team of teachers and staff.

A N VIJ Charitable Trust envisions to promote a safe, caring and supportive environment where every person can learn from from each other and respect one another. We have designed the use of innovative techniques to enhance life-long learning through technology, multiple intelligence, varied instructional strategies and interdisciplinary connects.
We promote sportsmanship and school spirit as we share our diverse cultural backgrounds to nurture growth and responsibility while at the same time celebrating our diversity within a positive school atmosphere. We nurture young minds, to focus on their holistic development and to develop their moral, ethical, human and spiritual values. Attention is given so that each child may develop character and confidence with a deep rooted passion in pursuit of excellence.
MISSION
AN VIJ Charitable Trust seeks to create a challenging yet conducive learning environment that inspires excellence and encourages high performance through engagement of varied instructions that allows for individual differences and learning styles. As in many parts of the developing world, children with disabilities in India are often socially marginalized; some are even rejected by their families. We work with the aim to combat this stigma and enable children with disabilities to take their rightful place in society.
Our mission is to prepare the students for life beyond school and to develop them as contributing individuals in the society at large. To that end, all our schools offer students a rigorous academic education and teach vocational skills that allow them to become active members of the working world.
All three schools are housed in a beautiful campus, the classrooms are well lit and furnished with colourful and attractive furniture . The campus environment is inspiring and conducive for education. The school infrastructure is as per norms, consisting of spacious classrooms, with a well-equipped library, audio-visual aids, a computer laboratory, dance and music room, as well as provision for ample space for both indoor and outdoor activities.
